To make sure that you avoid any possible cavitation as well as ensuring the proper motor operation, you must select the appropriate shaft length for the Kraken Force Trolling Motor. What to do? Simple, measure the distance between the surface of the boat’s bow to the waterline when in calm water conditions. You can use the table below to select the correct shaft length:

IMPORTANT: If large waves are often present when fishing, do the following: 

• Add 8" to the measurement before using the table below to select a shaft length
• If the measurement falls within the overlapping ranges, select the longer shaft length
